Bypassing Sensor Inputs

There

are

times

when

you

need

temporarily

bypass

all

sensor

inputs

the

unit,

such

when

remote starting

the

vehicle.

Anytime

auxiliary

channel

output

used,

all

inputs

are

bypassed

for

seconds.

During

the

second

bypass

period,

ground

can

supplied

the

Hl/6

Blue

wire

without

triggering

the

unit.

When

the

second

bypass

period

ends,

the

unit

sees

ground

the

Hl/6

Blue

wire,

all

trigger

inputs

except

the

door

trigger

input

will

remain

bypassed

until 5

seconds

after

ground

removed

from

the

BLUE

wire.

The

ignition

input

needs

bypassed

during

remote

start

also.

This

can

done

using

the

status

and

ignition

output ofa Directed

Electronics

remote

engine

starting

unit

shown

the

following

diagram:
